In Our Own League: The Legacy of “A League of Their Own”
This documentary, produced and directed by Festival Director Patrick Higgs, looks at the legacy of the classic Penny Marshall film “A League Of Their Own” on its 30th anniversary of release. Focusing on the impact the film had in the Southern Indiana region during production, it contains interviews from cast members & extras, and takes a look at the future of the film’s legacy.

Meet the real sisters Helen and Margaret Callaghan – “Dottie” and “Kit” – and their teammates who starred in the All American Girls Professional Baseball League. Their place was at Home but also at First, Second and Third Base. The film that inspired the major motion picture.
